Doreen Cordner
Passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, March 9, 2019. Mary “Doreen” Cordner (née Henry) formerly of Summerstown and of LaSalle; age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late John George Cordner (2015). Loving mother of Ian Cordner (Clifford), Karen Peckover (Brian) and the late Michael Cordner. Doreen will be sadly missed by surviving relatives Robert Cordner, Bill Cordner (Judy), Herbert (Jessie), Rea Parsons and many nieces and nephews in Quebec and Northern Ireland. Predeceased by her parents Herbert Henry and Ellen McMullen of Northern Ireland. Cherished grandmother of Cindi, Stephanie, Richard, Colin, Allison and Glenn and great-grandmother of Emily. A Celebration of Life will be held in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster: date and time to be determined. Spring Interment in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the to the Building Fund of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster or to the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
