Bedard, Mrs. Donna Diane Marie of Cornwall. She was 65. Peacefully on Saturday April 11th, 2020. Donna was born April 25, 1954 in Cornwall. She worked for over 30 years as a dietitian for the Glen Stor Dun Lodge in Cornwall. She retired in 2014 and spent her days vacationing, gardening, painting, enjoying nature and volunteering for Meals on Wheels Cornwall. Donna will be missed by many for her outgoing spirit and her bright smile, she was truly an amazing woman who cared about so many. Predeceased by her late husbands Marcel Bedard, and Peter Umbrasas. Survived by compassionate partner Victor Lalonde, Brothers Richard Marton, Robert Loyer, Half-Brothers Ronald Giroux (Lois), Raymond Giroux (Marielle), Half-sister Carol Bedard (Leo), Godchild Ashley Bedard (Cody) and many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother, Gertrude Loyer, her Stepfather, Albert Morton and her Father, Emilien Giroux. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the compassionate care she received by the Ottawa General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Villa in Cornwall. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Funeral Liturgy and visitation will be held at a later date followed by the Rite of Committal at St-Lawrence Valley cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
