Cornwall — Denise Léa Pagé (Albers nee Arbic), a long-time resident of the Cornwall area, passed away peacefully May 12, 2019 at the Woodland Villa in Long Sault. She was born on June 21, 1943 in Cornwall, to the late Percy Arbic and Marie-Ange (Bisson), and at a young age moved to Hull, QC. In her preteen years, Denise and her family moved to South Mountain area where they operated a farm. During the mid-1960s and 1970s Denise was a stay at home Mom, and in the mid-1980s, she took a position in the healthcare industry for Red Cross and Community Living, where she worked until her retirement. Denise is survived by four children Louise Albers of Cornwall, Sharon (Greg) Van Bridger of Morrisburg, Joe Albers (Irene) of Iroquois and Linda Albers of Cornwall. She is also survived by her siblings Rachel Menard of Cornwall, Laurier Arbic (Mary) of Cornwall, Pierrette Degan (Larry) of Cornwall, Raymond Arbic (late Lynn) of Cornwall, Noella Newton of Des Moines, Iowa, and Lise Dorey of Cornwall. Denise will be dearly missed by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Aunt Denise will be missed by many nieces and nephews (including great nieces and nephews). Predeceased by her husband Richard Pagé and the father of her children Bill Albers, as well as 3 brothers Joseph, Percy Junior and Pierre and 1 sister Mary. Denise will rest at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall – East Branch, 614 First Street East, Cornwall (613-933-2841). A visitation will be held from May 23, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday May 23, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall – East Branch, 614 First Street East on Friday May 24, 2019 at 11 a.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society Cornwall and District would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Au cours de son adolescence, Denise et sa famille ont déménagé dans la région de South Mountain, où ils exploitaient une ferme. Au milieu des années 1960 et 1970, Denise était une mère au foyer et au milieu des années 1980, elle a occupé un poste dans le secteur de la santé pour la Croix-Rouge et la vie en communauté, où elle a travaillé jusqu’à sa retraite. Denise laisse quatre enfants: Louise Albers de Cornwall, Sharon (Greg) Van Bridger de Morrisburg, Joe Albers (Irene) de Iroquois et Linda Albers de Cornwall, ainsi que ses frères et sœurs : Rachel Menard de Cornwall, Laurier Arbic (Mary) de Cornwall, Pierrette Degan (Larry) de Cornwall, Raymond Arbic (feu Lynn) de Cornwall, Noella Newton de Des Moines, Iowa et Lise Dorey de Cornwall. Denise manquera à 9 petits-enfants et 15 arrière-petits-enfants. De nombreux neveux et nièces (y compris les arrières-petits nièces et neveux) manqueront à tante Denise. Elle est prédécédée par son mari Richard Pagé et le père de ses enfants Bill Albers, ainsi que de trois frères Joseph, Percy Junior et Pierre et une sœur Mary. Denise reposera au salon Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall – succursale est, 614, première rue est, Cornwall (613-933-2841).
