Callum Anderson

Callum James Anderson June 24th, 2018 – May 13th, 2020

Callum passed away peacefully on May 13th with his mom and his dad by his side, after a short but hard fought battle with illness at CHEO.

Cal will be immensely missed by his parents Jonathan and Shannon Anderson (Chisholm), his big brother Reed, and his sibling coming in August. He is also mourned by his grandparents Angus and Karen Chisholm, Hilary Anderson, and Rod and Marivic Anderson. He also leaves behind his loving aunts and uncles: Rebecca (Jeremy) Cameron, Owen (Karine) Chisholm, and Mary-Ellen Chisholm, along with his protective older cousins.

Cal loved playing outside, keeping up with his brother, a good book and a rock in his rocking chair. He was determined, curious, expressive and had a contagious laugh. He could quickly get what he needed with a point and an eyebrow furrow. He brought so much joy to his family in the short time he was here. He will be forever missed.

In light of coronavirus restrictions, Callum’s family will be available outside their home for family and friends to drive by to remember him on Tuesday, May 19th beginning at 2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario or to help find treatments and a cure for Neurocutaneous Melanocytosis would be dearly appreciated.
