Bob (Argo) McNally
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Bob (Argo) McNally, on Nov. 29, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 78. Born in Hamilton, Ont., to Muriel (Greenwood) & Cecil McNally. Beloved husband of the late Susan (Bishop) and father of his cherished daughter Shana Singh (Rob) of Toronto. Beloved brother of Cecil McNally (late Beth), Doreen Doth (Claude), Bill McNally (Gale). Fun loving uncle to Christopher, Julie, Steven, Timothy, Karen, Kelly, Michael, David and Matthew. Bob was always involved in sports since his high school days at C.C.V.S., where he broke a 30 yr. record for the 100 yard dash in track and field and held that record for many years. Football was his absolute love. During high school, he played for the C.C.V.S. Raiders and was considered one of the best high school football players of his time. As a result, he received a scholarship from the Ottawa Rough Riders to attend Marquette, Michigan. From there he went to Windsor University, where he played for the Windsor Lancers. In addition, Bob has been inducted into the Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame for football. Lacrosse was a love of Bob’s as well and he played with some of the best junior teams in Cornwall. He was a fun guy to be around and certainly will be missed by family and friends. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
