WATSON, Andrew – Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Andrew was born on February 11th, 1939 in Calcutta, India. He started his career as a Radio Operator in the Merchant Navy, which allowed him to travel the world before immigrating to Canada in 1968. Following that he worked as a Flight Service Specialist, then Instructor at Nav Canada for 29 years before retiring in 2004. Son of the late Ivy & William Watson. Beloved husband of Judy (née Lane) of 46 years. Loving father of Michael (Robyn). Dear brother of Jean Dender (Noel). Son-in-law of Dora Lane (Ernie). Brother-in-law of Terri Davis (Eric), Curtis Lane (Melissa), Glen Robinson (Kathy) & of the late Mike Paquette (Dorothy). Uncle of Gary Dender (Suzanne) & Brady Lane (Nikki). Andrew will always be remembered by his family & friends.
