With profound sadness we announce the passing of Alice, our loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched.

Alice Terriah-Piper (nee: Demontigny), age 87 passed away peacefully at Cornwall Community Hospital on May 12, 2020. She was born September 9, 1932 in Buckingham, QC, the first of 8 children; daughter of the predeceased Arthur & Elize (Ledoux) Demontigny, sister to (Predeceased: Albert, Alan, Lorne, Francis, and survived by Christine, Jean, Margaret). By her first marriage to Gerald Terriah (Predeceased 1993), Alice had six children; Holly (Claude Collette), Dale (Billy Andrews), Susan (Doug Crites), Daniel Terriah (Dara), Predeceased children; Kim Houchen (Terriah), and Gerald “Buzzy” Terriah, ten grand-children; Jamie, Cory, Jennifer Collette; Kelly Caron (Andrews), Stacy Andrews; Colt Charlebois, Brock and Jorden Terriah, Carrie and Rebecca Richardson, and 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Also predeceased by her second husband; Lou Piper (2014).

Alice worked as a Realtor in Cornwall for many years and was known as a very energetic and active lady. Her enthusiasm for life was infectious, and her love for her family was immeasurable. She will be deeply missed. “Rest in Peace our Beloved”
