Friday, February 24th, 1950 – Wednesday, August 18th, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred (Ted) Edward Bartlett. After courageously battling leukemia for 11 years his journey ceased on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his residence; aged 71 years old. Ted Bartlett was a beloved husband for 41 years of Vicki Bartlett whom he forever imprinted his endless endearment for his “babe”. As the father of Kimberley Bartlett and Marshall Bartlett, he instilled characteristics that lay the foundations for the successful individuals he was forever proud of. His love for his children extended to their spouses Laurie-Anne Bartlett (Lacroix) and Jonathan Gardiner as an extension of his family embracing them with his open heart. As “Papa” he mentored his grandchildren Alexandria Wickett, Ethan Wickett, Brayden Bartlett, and Colton Bartlett through his life’s testimony of being an honourable, passionate, kind and loving man.
Ted Bartlett not only dedicated his life to raising a family but extended his desire to mentor, coach and educate generations of young professionals throughout his lifetime. His skill sets were acquired through an endearing pursuit of knowledge and forged through hardships that engrained a desire for the betterment of those graced with his tutelage. Ted Bartlett left many imprinted with individual lessons that will forever impact their life’s journey and through this he will forever touch generations. Many will succeed beyond the years of his life due to the fact they have had the pleasure of knowing and forever remembering Ted “Papa” Bartlett.
