Alain Robert Joseph Racine
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Alain Robert Joseph Racine surrounded by family at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the age of 73.
Dear son of the late Bernard and the late Marguerite (née Givogue) Racine. Beloved husband of 41 years to Suzanne Racine (née Leclair). Loving father of James Racine (Lianne) and Laurie Racine (Guy Fontaine). Cherished grandfather to: Keaten Racine, Dryden Racine, Brant Racine and Riley Primeau.
He will be dearly missed by his brother Daniel (Eveline) and his sisters Joanne Groulx (Andy) and Colette Bazinet (Luc); his father-in-law John “Cubby” Leclair (late Margurite); as well as his sisters-in-law Kim Terhorst (Andrew) and Margurite Renwick (Kelly).
In keeping with Alain’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482).
Interment will take place on Friday September 6th, 2024 at 11:00AM at Notre Dame Cemetery with close friends and family.
As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
