It is a heartwarming look back at a community coming together during the biggest natural disaster to hit the area in a generation. It was 20 years ago this week that Cornwall and much of Eastern Ontario and Quebec were thrashed with snow and ice that made roads impassable and brought our electronic infrastructure to its knees.
Despite intermittent power outages in Cornwall and difficulty in reaching the office, Seaway News did not miss a single edition throughout the crisis.
