Cornwall’s music lovers gathered for an unforgettable experience at Lamoureux Park on July 6, 2024, as a free pop-up rave brought the Bandshell to life with pulsating beats and energetic performances.
Organized by local music artist Brandon Stoliker, the event featured five DJs: Steep, Megasaturn, Stolli, Savage, Sarah Guy, and Lil’ Thik. Each DJ delivered high-energy electronic dance music, including genres like house, dubstep, and EDM, creating an electric atmosphere, including lighting and a fog machine.
“We started organizing the event this week. We haven’t thought of a name yet but call it Pop Up Cornwall for now,” Stoliker said. He emphasized the importance of offering a daytime event, saying, “Some people can only make it out during the day because of families and are busy with stuff like that. People want to get out and enjoy the weather, and it’s fun for everyone to swing by and hear what we offer. Not everyone can hear it at the bars, so why not do it in a public place?” The pop-up rave highlights Cornwall’s diverse and evolving music scene.
