Char-Lan District High School in Williamstown hosts Rok The Rek, an electrifying evening of music at the Char-Lan Recreation Centre May 9, that will feature the school’s acclaimed band, Clanstock. The festivities begin outside with a BBQ at 6 p.m. Enjoy performances by talented musicians from Glengarry District High School, Char-Lan alumni and current students, who will set the stage for the main concert inside the arena. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Glengarry Mental Health.

SEAWAY WINDS CONCERT BAND’S annual spring concert “To Mom With Love” will celebrate Mothers, both old and young, and bring back memories of those mothers no longer with us. Featuring some of Mom’s favourite tunes such as ‘The Wind Beneath My Wings’, ‘Five Foot Two’, music from Abba and from the swing era, plus more. This heartfelt concert is directed by Barb Hunter with guest soloist, Janet Timms.
