Did you know that today we welcome the merry month of MAY. This is the month to celebrate the “cinque de mayo”, “Mothers’ Day”, “Victoria Day, better known as the May 24 Weekend “and the supposed arrival of all those May flowers after the April showers.
You need to know that Soapladz will be holding its regular Monthly Artisan Vendor Market this coming Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th in The Square Marketplace on the main level of the mall across from the passenger elevator. Come and look at all the goodies being offered. You never know what you will find?
Did you know that Laura Secord, Shoppers Drug Mart and Dollarama can help you get that special “Sweet Gift” for your Mothers’ Day honoree. While Hallmark, Shoppers Drug Mart and Dollarama can help you find just the right card to express those emotions. Remember, Sunday May 12th.
You need to know that Cornwall Square will be putting up its Mothers’ Day display at Centre Court this week so that you can come and either take a selfie or ask the photographer for a picture if you so desire. And remember that the “My Mom is the Best because…” short essay of 50 words or less contest will end on Mothers’ Day and 3 prizes will be awarded to essay winners on Monday May 13th. Entries can be dropped off in the mailbox located in the display at centre court on the main level of the mall.
A BIG THANK YOU to the Cornwall Motor Speedway team that roared into the mall this past Thursday evening, once the mall closed for the day, The vehicles are impressive and a tad noisy but all of the vehicles that were showcased, grabbed your attention. I must say that I found it odd that each driver took home the vehicle’s steering wheel, sort of a BYOSW.
Did you know that Cornwall Square will be starting its Spring Cleaning within the next 2 weeks as we power wash the sidewalks, the entranceways, the bottom part of exterior walls where salt tends to gather over the winter and any existing graffiti. We will also be sweeping up the winter residue from the parking lots and service areas. You may just hear the property going Aaaah! And whispering a quiet “Thank You.”
You need to remember that Cornwall Square will be closed on Monday May 20th, 2024, for Victoria Day as this is a Stat Holiday and we hope that everyone can celebrate the extra day with family and friends.
