With the summer in full swing, the Cornwall Branch of the Canadian Red Cross would like to invite boys and girls aged 11 and over to register for one of our fun, interactive babysitting courses. We will be offering this course on Wednesday, August 20. The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course focuses on caregiving for children of all ages, first aid and injury prevention, confidence, professionalism and leadership. Participants receive the Babysitter’s Manual, an excellent resource and guide for new and experienced babysitters, which includes activity guides, worksheets for creating a great-looking résumé, and sample business cards! When your child completes the course, he or she will receive an official Red Cross Babysitting Course wallet card that they can keep with them at all times. This course also meets current First Aid and CPR guide lines, and is taught by facilitators trained by the Canadian Red Cross.
