CORNWALL, Ontario – If you’re a fan of flavourful wings, great deals and a sports bar feel, Wing House is set to open its doors in the city soon and could be the ideal place for you! Not only is the Ontario franchise looking forward to serving local customers, they are looking for locals to join their team of enthusiastic, energetic staff members.
On Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30, Wing House will be hosting a job fair at 1730 Vincent Massey Dr. from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
No experience is required. The Wing House is looking to hire around 20 team members including approx. 15 bartenders and servers. Ideal staff members include people who have natural interpersonal skills who are excited and ready to learn. Applicants are only asked to bring their CV.
The Wing House is proud to offer over 150 flavours of wing sauces! The heat scale ranges from mild, medium and hot to homicide, suicide and knock out. With classic flavours like honey garlic, buffalo, ranch and BBQ, to falvours that take you on a trip around the world with inspiration from Tokyo, Mexico and Croatia, there is sure to be a favourite flavour for everyone. If wings aren’t your thing? No problem! The Wing House also specializes in a plethora of alternative options like chicken burgers, salads, wraps, quesadillas and more.
Some of the special deals include Kids Eat Free Mondays (two children under 10-years), A Pint (of Coors Light) and a Pound Tuesdays for only $14.95, Wednesday Wing Night where you can buy a pound and get one free, and various other specials throughout the days of the week.
Operations Manager Katherine Cinerari says that there is a lot of opportunity to grow in the Wing House family. Cinerari explained that the franchise is excited to expand into a community like Cornwall, with most of their locations occupying the GTA.
“The owner really likes the area,” she said. “It is its own vibrant, up-and-coming community and he is excited to be a part of that.”
The all-Canadian, classic restaurant-bar has nine locations across Ontario that enjoy welcoming and catering to everyone. All Emergency Response Team workers (including paramedics, firefighters and police officers) can indulge at Wing House for 15 per cent off as a message of appreciation for keeping our communities safe!
Their new location in Cornwall will have approximately 35 televisions and will be available to book for catering.
