SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – On March 23, 2018 at approximately 11:32 a.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on Concession Road 8, South Glengarry Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime between – March 15-22, 2018 culprit(s) entered a residence and removed electronics, watches, assorted jewellery, American currency and an autographed Team Canada Hockey jersey autographed by Connor McDavid.

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(NORTH DUNDAS, ON) – On March 24, 2018 at approximately 8:43pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Church Road in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation had taken place between a female and her boyfriend. The Investigation revealed that the female had assaulted and threatened her boyfriend. The female also damaged property at the location.

An 18-year-old female from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault (2 counts)

– Mischief (2 counts)

– Uttering threats

She was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on April 10, 2018.

Her name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.             

IMPAIRED BY DRUG

(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) – On March 24, 2018 at approximately 11:27pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 31, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that the adult male driver was under the influence of a drug. The male also caused damage to a police vehicle while in custody.

Jeffrey NEVINS (33) of North Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Drive a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by a Drug

– Mischief

-Fail to comply with conditions of an Undertaking

He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.        

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(NORTH DUNDAS, ON) – On March 25, 2018 at approximately 12:59pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation had taken place between a male and his wife. The Investigation revealed that the male had threatened his wife. 

A 26-year-old male from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Uttering Threats (2 counts)  

He was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on April 24, 2018.

His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
