The Optimist Club of Cornwall celebrated its 75th anniversary with the Grand Opening of their new play structure on October 1, 2023 at Optimist Park. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a complimentary BBQ, a bicycle giveaway, and games for children. Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Cornwall Mayor Justin Towndale, MP Eric Duncan, and MPP Nolan Quinn.
