INGLESIDE, Ontario – Big ones, small ones, loud ones, quiet ones, all kinds of dogs descended on Ingleside this weekend for the annual Cornwall Kennel Club Dog Show & Trials.
The show ran from Thursday, Aug. 20 to Sunday Sept. 2 in Farran Park in Ingleside.
Mike Lanctot, one of the event’s organizers, said that more than 1,000 dogs would be at the show over its four days. The dogs would be competing in confirmation, obedience and rally trials.
“We are pleased to see top quality dogs here,” Lanctot said. “We have some of the top dogs in the country here this weekend.”
The event was sponsored by Eukanuba and Best in Show Pet Supplies.
The event has been organized by the Cornwall Kennel Club since 1974, for the past 15 years, it has been an outdoor show.
