A new wave of cultural enthusiasm is about to sweep through Cornwall. The Cornwall SDG International Afro & Diversity Festival is delighted to announce its official partnership with ACFO SDG. This alliance reinforces the strong
message of unity, diversity and inclusion that will resonate on August 19, 2023.
The eagerly-awaited event will take place at the Civic Complex, located at 100 Water St E, Cornwall, ON K6H 6G4. The Official Launch Ceremony will begin precisely at 1:00 p.m., and will be the culmination of months of preparation and dedication.
Flora Cynthia Kra, President of the organization, expresses her emotion and gratitude: “ACFO SDG’s trust and support for the first edition of our festival is not simply moral support, it’s the validation of a dream, a vision of a community united by music, dance and culture.”
ACFO SDG, which plays a leading role in promoting the French language and cultural diversity in the region, also sees this partnership as a significant step forward. “Seeing initiatives like the Festival International Afro Diversité come to life and be supported reinforces ACFO SDG’s mission. We look forward to working closely with the leaders of this new organization and supporting them in their organizational development,” said Céline Baillargeon-Tardif, General Manager of ACFO SDG.
