UNITED COUNTIES of SD&G, Ontario – On June 18-19, 2018 Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement in SD&G and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and the driver’s permits seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– June 18, 2018 – 7:28am (North Stormont); vehicle stopped traveling 111km/h (50km/h zone)(County Road 43 – Finch). Female driver (42) from North Glengarry, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
– June 18, 2018 – 10:35pm (North Glengarry); vehicle stopped traveling 152km/h (100km/h zone)(Highway 417). Male driver (41) from Lasalle, Quebec was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
– June 19, 2018 – 2:46pm (North Glengarry); vehicle stopped traveling 133km/h (80km/h zone)(County Road 20). Female driver (19) from North Glengarry, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
