SOUTH DUNDAS, Ontario – On July 18, 2018 at approximately 11:35 a.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a domestic disturbance in South Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that an altercation occurred between a female and an adult male (common law-husband). The accused female struck the victim and damaged his property. Investigation further revealed that the accused was under the influence of alcohol when Police located her in her vehicle near the residence. The victim received no injuries. The female then resisted during her arrest.
A 45-year-old female of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
– Mischief
– Drive of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
– Resist Peace Officer
She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 7, 2018.
