CORNWALL, Ontario – Four 3rd period goals vaulted the Colts to a 4-3 home ice win over the Navan Grads at the Ed Lumley Arena.
The Colts trailed 3-0 after the 2nd period: cue the comeback. Tommy Tanner (5) had a goal and 3 assists including a nice pass to send Keegan Mulhearn (8) in with just over 3 minutes left to score the eventual game winning goal. Justin McRae (11) and Konnor MacCormick (9) also scored.
James Orr and McRae each added two assists.
The Grads outshot the Colts 36-33 with Michael Carr making 33 saves for the victory.
The Colts improve to 14-13-4-1 (33pts) and into a 3-way tie for 5th overall in the CCHL standings.
The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Colts Player was Tommy Tanner.

The Colts are back in action with a pair of road games this weekend. First up: Friday night in Kemptville. Game time is 7:30pm at the Kemptville Arena. The Colts then travel to Cumberland to play the Grads on Sunday.
The Colts return home on Thursday, December 7th to host the Kemptville 73’s. Game time is 7:30pm. Next Thursday marks the return of the annual Teddy Bear Toss in support of the Optimist Club Toy Drive. Fans are encouraged to bring their new or gently used stuffed animals to the game and will throw them on the ice when the Colts score their first goal of the game. Fans are also reminded about the request for nonperishable food items in support of BOOM 101.9’s Stuff The Studio campaign in support of St. Vincent De Paul Society.
