CORNWALL, Ontario – JD Pogue’s shorthanded goal early the third period was the difference as the Colts edged the Pembroke Lumber Kings 3-2 at the Ed Lumley Arena.
The win extends the Colts winning streak to 5 games and improves their record to 18-13-4-1 (41pts).
The shorthanded marker was Pogue’s second goal of the game (8th of the season). David Poirier (7) also scored.
Pembroke outshot the Colts 38-28 with Liam Lascelle making 36 saves for the win.
