École élémentaire catholique Sainte-Lucie (CSDCEO) students have been collecting pull tabs over the years as a school project. This past Thursday, August 11th, 436 lbs or approximately 683,648 tabs were delivered to Gerdau Metals Recycling, Cornwall. Gerdau generously offered Prime rate for aluminum which equated to $362.00.
The monetary amount raised from the tabs was then donated to the SD& G Cornwall Shrine Club to be directed to the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada.
