One dead, two injured in residential fire in Collingwood, Ont.: OPP

COLLINGWOOD, Ont. — Ontario provincial police say one person has died and two others have been injured in a residential fire in Collingwood, Ont.

OPP say officers and firefighters were called to a fire shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

They say one person has died. 

That person’s identity is not being released until next of kin have been notified.

Police say two others suffered minor injuries and have been taken to hospital.

They say the Ontario fire marshal’s office has been called in to investigate.
