TORONTO — Dye & Durham Ltd. has revised its offer for Australian company Link Administration Holdings Ltd. again.
The company says it is now offering up to A$4.70 per share including A$4.57 per share plus up to 13 cents per share for the proceeds from the sale of Link Group’s banking and credit management business.
Last month, Dye & Durham cut its offer to A$4.30 per share, down from its proposal of A$5.50 per share in December.
Dye & Durham says it believes that this second revised proposal will give greater certainty to Link Group shareholders regarding the transaction and will lead to its successful completion.
The Toronto-based company has said the acquisition would expand its customer base in key U.K. and Australian markets and strengthen its business-to-business software and information service solutions.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said last month that it had significant preliminary competition concerns with the deal.
