CORNWALL, Ontario – A Chris Theodore goal with 96 seconds remaining in the 3rd period pushed the Colts to a 2-1 win over Brockville in Cornwall’s home opener at the Ed Lumley Arena.
It was Theodore’s team leading 3rd goal of the season.
The Braves outshot the Colts 41-35 with Liam Lascelle making 40 saves for his first victory of the season.
Cameron Hebert (1) also scored as the Colts improve to 2-2-0-0.
The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Player of the Game was Colts goaltender Liam Lascelle.
The Pizza Pizza three stars were First Star Chris Theodore (COR), Second Star Liam Lascelle (COR) and Third Star Yaniv Perets (BRO).
The Colts are back in action Friday night in Hawkesbury to face the Hawks. Game time is 7:30pm at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex.
