Toronto, ON – Patricia McDermid of Berwick has $595,243.60 to put toward her dreams after winning a LOTTO MAXsecond prize in the March 25, 2022 draw.
Patricia says she has been playing the lottery for many years. “My favourite games are LOTTO MAX, DAILY GRAND and LOTTO 6/49,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings.
The married mother and grandmother was checking her tickets using the OLG App. “My husband was in the other room and every time he heard the winning jingle he would ask, ‘What did we win?’ and I would respond ‘$2,'” Patricia said. “I checked my last ticket, and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the $595,243 win. I checked it again and I couldn’t wrap my head around it. My husband didn’t believe me until we checked it together!”
Patricia plans to complete some home renovations, spoil her grandchildren, and invest..
