CORNWALL, Ontario – Cornwall police have arrested more individuals and filed an increasing number of charges against a pair of men thought to be supporters of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club.
The police department’s street crime unit, with OPP assistance, executed drug warrants at Cornwall locations on June 17.
As a result of the warrants a quantity of cocaine, hashish and Canadian currency was located as well as brass knuckles.
Jeff Berube, 52 and Rodney Helmer, 42 both from Cornwall and known members of the “13 Crew,” Motorcycle Club – a Hells Angels Motorcycle Club support group – were arrested and charged accordingly.
They were both held for a bail hearing. They were charged with possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of hydromorphone, possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone, possession of cannabis resin (hash) over one gram and conspiracy to commit a crime.
More arrests have also taken place.
Jennifer Berube, 52, faces charges of possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of hash, conspiracy to commit a crime, unsafe storage of ammunition and possession of property obtained by crime.
Rachel Helmer, 41, has been charged with possession of cocaine, possession of hash, possession of psilocybin, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a prohibited weapon and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
Francis Picken, 63, has been charged with possession of hydromorphone, possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone and possession of hash.
