CORNWALL, SDG – Ontario – Environment Canada has issued a freezing drizzle advisory for the entirety of Monday, Feb. 4.
The following areas may be impacted:
Cornwall – Lancaster
Maxville – Alexandria
Morrisburg – Long Sault
Winchester – Newington
The advisory states that light snow, ice pellets and freezing drizzle are expected to develop in the region on Sunday, Feb. 3 and carry into Monday as warmer air moves in, changing precipitation.
Surfaces may become slippery and covered with ice as freezing drizzle can create thin layers of ice. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and take caution in slipper conditions.
