CORNWALL &SDG, Ontario – Students will have an extended Christmas holiday as buses have been cancelled throughout the region today.
Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO) announced just before 6 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 that buses were cancelled “due to mixed precipitation throughout the night and morning, which has rendered many rural and back roads treacherous or impassable this morning.”
This is the second bus cancellation of the season.
All schools across the board have been affected, including French and English Public schools as well as French and English Catholic schools.
Schools remain open for students who can find other means of transportation.
