CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Police Service (CPS) is asking for public assistance concerning two separate motor vehicle collisions that occurred over the weekend.
On July 30th, 2021 at approximately 9:45 pm, the CPS was called to respond to a motor vehicle collision, where a vehicle had struck a pedestrian in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Thirteenth Street. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. At this point in time, the investigation continues to be ongoing.
The CPS is asking that anyone who may have witnessed this collision to please contact Constable Patrick Depratto of the Traffic Unit at 613-933-5000 ext. 2734.
Additionally, on July 31st, 2021 at approximately 7:15 pm, the CPS was called to investigate a separate motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the area of Nick Kaneb Drive and Holy Cross Boulevard.
The CPS is seeking any witnesses or residents who may have video footage of the collision. Anyone with information surrounding this collision is asked to contact Constable Kelly Zeran at 613-933-5000 ext. 2774.
