Lancaster, Ontario, November 22, 2019 – The Township of South Glengarry is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Mills as Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Mills will assume his role as CAO on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 and will be officially appointed by Council at the December 2, 2019 Regular Council Meeting.
Mr. Mills has many years of experience across SDG and brings a knowledgeable perspective on both unique challenges and opportunities in South Glengarry. A longstanding background in the field of education, he also most recently worked as Superintendent of Schools for the Upper Canada District School Board. Mr. Mills is actively involved as a member of a variety of community organizations throughout Cornwall and SD&G including being a member of the Fundraising Committee for Beyond 21 and a Committee Member for the St. Lawrence River Institute.

Mr. Mills is looking forward to the challenge and the many opportunities that lie ahead for the Township. “I am both excited and honoured to assume the role of CAO in the Township of South Glengarry and would like to thank Mayor Prevost and Council for the opportunity to serve the Township.” Mr. Mills stated. “A recent survey to constituents, related to the Strategic Plan for 2019- 2023, identified three core strengths of South Glengarry: our community, our location and our people. These strengths will be the pillars for achieving the strategic priorities and objectives.”
